Summit acquires PFI adding national reach and proprietary high tech remediation capability.
Summit Drilling Company, one of the Northeast’s largest environmental drilling companies, has acquired Pneumatic Fracturing, Inc. (“PFI”) of Alpha, NJ. The merger, which will join the forces of two preeminent firms in their respective fields, was announced by Summit President and CEO, Robert R. Kreilick, Jr.
“This acquisition transforms Summit Drilling, combining mission-critical injection services with a multidisciplinary drilling firm, enabling Summit to deliver on its promise as a full service environmental drilling company,” said Kreilick. “Summit’s operation area will expand with the merger as well. With more than 55 professionals and support personnel, combined with the integration of the PFI team, Summit will provide investigative and remediation services on a national level.”
