Summit Drilling’s “Experience Safety” Program Recognized Four Years Consecutively and Counting

Director of Health and Safety, Denis Crayon, accepted a well-deserved Recognition Award at the Governor’s Annual Occupational Safety and Health Awards Program. This award is presented to organizations with an outstanding safety record throughout 2012 and considered a pillar of achievement in the prevention of workplace injury and illness for 85 years. The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the New Jersey State Industrial Safety Committee and the New Jersey State Safety Council sponsor this important program.

Summit Drilling’s Experience Safety Program has racked up some impressive numbers. As of September 5, 2013, Summit Drilling has worked 1337 consecutive workdays without a lost time incident representing approximately 416,140 man-hours worked. Prior to receiving this 85th Annual Governor’s Occupational Safety & Health Award, Summit Drilling also received its fourth consecutive Annual Eyes on America Workforce Safety Award this past June.
